News: BAFTA 2021 Nominations

The awards season is in full motion, and even with the COVID-19 restrictions still in place around the world, the glitz and glamour is just a little more virtual this year. Still, the wealth of talent being celebrated is just as prominent as ever.

Next, it's the EE BAFTAs.

Chair of Bafta’s film committee Marc Samuelson said: “We have pushed back by two months to give all films the best possible chance to be released and considered properly. "

Bafta has temporarily changed the eligibility rules because of the closure of UK cinemas during the pandemic to “ensure that titles which had an intended theatrical release are not penalised due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on cinemas”.
